MILAN, 1875
It was in this year that two Viennese brothers founded UNGER Company for the trading of embroidery and writing material from Bohemia.
MILAN, 1900
In 1900 UNGER was bought by Benigno Rossi for his wife
Clotilde Silva. Under her management the trade included fashion accessories,
corset ornaments and costume jewellery.
The head office was in via Santa Maria Fulcorina before at
number13 and later at 20. During these years was formed the large store,
with rare items from Bohemia and from Venice which is still the greatest source of pride of the firm.
MILAN, 1960/1980
The firm passed to Mrs. Dora Rossi (Clotilde's daughter-in-law) and under her management and thanks to her great creativeness UNGER expanded, acquiring an important role in the market.
Dora's sons Alessandro and Maria Pia Rossi start their cooperation in the firm.
MILAN, 1990
Costume jewellery and fashion accessories line Clotilde Silva starts up.
The family tradition is continued by Maria Pia Rossi who manages the model creation and the production.
MILAN, 1991
A flagship store opens in Piazzale Baracca 10.
MILAN, 2004
The company moves to a new address: via Montevideo 7.
